Jack Tolman
Executive Director
Executive Director Jack Tolman was NCM’s first hire in 2004 and has established a station and a staff that consistently produces high quality programming for the town of Norwood. Under Jack’s leadership, NCM has been recognized at the National Level by being a 6 time winner of the Alliance for Community Media award for Overall Excellence. In addition to leading the station and staff, he continues to produce long form programs, news stories, sports productions and local business profiles that highlight all things Norwood. His position of Director of Video Technology for the Norwood school department allows for the continued success of the NCM/School Department partnership. Jack is proud of the many Norwood alumni that have gone on to have careers in the broadcasting industry.

Sarah joined Norwood Community Media in June 2006. As the Business Manager of Norwood Community Media, she oversees the office's financial operations and human resources administration. Working alongside the Executive Director, Sarah has established an annual budget process and provides business insight into NCM's strategic direction.

Brian began working with NCM in 2009 as a part-time producer, later joining the organization full-time. His strong administrative and communication skills have been valuable assets to the team. As well as his knowledge of A/V signal flow.
As Promotions Coordinator, Brian manages social media updates and leads NCM’s promotional efforts. He is also responsible for maintaining equipment and continually finding innovative ways to maximize its use. Brian, along with the staff producers, works to promote and support the production of NCM’s weekly newscast, Norwood News, contributing both behind the scenes and on camera.
In addition, he organizes and executes the broadcast content schedules and has served on crew for numerous community events, including Dancing with the Norwood Stars, Town Meeting, and Election Night coverage. Outside of his work in video production—which remains his greatest passion—Brian enjoys photography, traveling, and listening to vinyl records.

Ron is a 2017 graduate of Norwood High School and the NHS-TV program, a 2019 graduate of MassBay Community College, and a 2021 graduate of Emerson College. Before working full time for NCM, Ron was working as a podcast coordinator, and before that, was a part-time apprentice plumber under his mom, Master Plumber Susan-Jacobs Marshalsea. Ron is now a staff producer for NCM, where he produces stories for Norwood News, creates social media graphics and sporting event scorebugs, helps with all field productions, and is the anchor for the “Sports Update” portion of Norwood News.
Outside of NCM, Ron enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Holly, and their two cats, Hamlet and Turtle. He is also an avid wrestling, comedy, and Boston sports fan.

Kiki Thaxter was born and raised in Norwood and graduated from Norwood High School in 2017. She went on to complete a two-year program at MassBay Community College, earning her associate’s degree in communication before transferring to UMass Boston, where she received her bachelor’s degree in communication. In 2021, Kiki interned with WCVB’s Chronicle, shadowing producers and on-air talent during video shoots and gaining valuable insight into the world of broadcast media. Her passion for storytelling began early and spent much of her childhood recording videos with friends, editing music videos, and finding any opportunity to be in front of the camera. She also was a part of the TV Production class throughout her four years at Norwood High School. Today, Kiki is a producer for NCM, where she manages the social media accounts, produces segments for the weekly news, and hosts her own segment called “Sweet Treats with Keeks” where she discovers new sweet spots around town.
